HEADLINES (Restaurant)
is the only restaurant in the world that specialises in OSTRICH CUISINE. At the HEADLINES you will find Ostrich Breakfasts, Omelette, Liver Paté, Soup, Neck, the finest Fillet and lots more.

We also serve the best Crocodile, Venison, Seafood's, Chicken, Vegetarian Food, Charcoal Grills, Pizza, Pastas, and a special kiddies menu is available. The Bushmen Kebab is a favorite amongst tourists and consists of ostrich fillet, venison, crocodile, pork/ beef fillet and chicken on one skewer.

Whatever your choice, you can expect the finest in food and drink. Our aim is to make sure that all the pleasures of a fine table and excellent wine list are yours to enjoy.

HEADLINES RESTAURANT (History)
is the second oldest restaurant in town and for the last fifteen years the restaurant has been owned and managed by Nico and Hannietjie Geldenhuys.

Inside the restaurant you will find a sport tie collection and many sports memorabilia. In the smoking area is a large exhibition of old steam train equipment and old railway items.

HEADLINES RESTAURANT (Catering & Venue)
is situated on the main road from George to the Cango Caves. The restaurant seats 106 guests, the smoking area 18 guests and 48 guests can be seated on the veranda.

We design and create menus to suit our individual client’s needs and no theme or idea is unobtainable. We make sure our delicacies are flawlessly prepared and presented so that they are both delicious as well as visually attractive.
Our main goal is to consistently exceed our customer’s expectations, communicating with them and meeting their needs whether it is a wedding, family reunion, birthday party, high teas, corporate functions or social gathering.

Ample parking for cars and buses is available at the back of the restaurant. Set menus and special prices for groups are available on request.
